The purpose of the “Finding Cleveland’s Women: Digital History Experience” is to provide an opportunity for students to visualize the city as a dynamic interactive and historical living space. The activities & discussions help students recognize that spaces have their own history; that events and people live within a historical context that shapes their motivations and actions; interpretations and physical evidence of the past may be incomplete. It may be missing half the population or more. This activity searches for the history of women in the city of Cleveland, OH.
